Step into the splendour of Renaissance Venice with FESTA VENEZIANA! Cantores Chamber Choir directed by Simon Harper joins forces with the celebrated early music ensemble His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts for an evening of Venetian ‘Superexcellence’. Experience the resplendent, multi-choir masterpieces of Giovanni and Andrea Gabrieli, alongside glorious works by lesser-known Venetian composers Gioseffo Guami and Giovanni Battista Grillo. Rich voices and brilliant brass combine to recreate the opulent sound world of St Mark’s Basilica, promising a dazzling celebration of Venetian musical grandeur not to be missed.
